Dr. Minakshi Karwal is a distinguished academician and researcher specialized in sustainable agriculture, organic farming and waste management. She has been a speaker at various international and national platforms related to environmental awareness, natural resource conservation, climate change awareness and biodiversity conservation.like UNDP, Global summits, Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change, NIOS Swayam Live TV programs Ministry of Human Resource and Development,  National TV DD Kisan, DD Urdu, CPWD, NTPC, IARI- ICAR PUSA, JNU, Noida International airport, Jewar, Tata Projects etc.

She has judged an event organized by Greentech Foundation entitled as National Green Awards- 2024, where she received the opportunity to assess sustainable practices at the Industrial level for Navratna Companies of India. She has been awarded with Heroes Next Door Awards 2019, Ghaziabad, Mahila Unnati Samiti, Noida, Bharat Group of Institutions, Haryana for her contribution to society concerning environmental conservation, organic farming, and waste management at the local level.

She has a Life Membership of Indian Society Of Agricultural Science, Division Of Agronomy, Indian Agricultural Research Institute. She has published 5 International Research Papers, and 3 book chapters, and a patent has been filled. Her research interests are in environmental management and conservation, solid waste management, water pollution control, air pollution control, and bioenergy production. 

She has developed various pilot projects to mitigate the impact of pollution and contamination on natural resources and contributed to sustainable development. With expertise in environment management, solid waste management, and sustainability, Dr. Minakshi serves as an advisor to BHU Unnati Vermi Compost Company, offering invaluable insights to enhance their environmental initiatives and promote sustainable practices
